Exchange and Return Policy
Making a purchase indicates that you have acknowledged, understood, and agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions.
Cancellations
Order once placed can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order. Please note orders placed during a sale or any promotional event will not be eligible for cancellation or refund.
All products are eligible for exchange.
Exchanges
Our policy lasts 48 hours of delivery. If 48 hours have gone by since the product has been delivered, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange or return.
To be eligible for a return, your apparel must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To initiate Exchange and Return, please follow the steps below
- Log in to our website using your email and the OTP sent to your inbox.
- Navigate to your order details, click on "Request Return," and select the reason for your return. If you’re requesting an exchange, specify the desired size in the notes section. For store credits, simply leave the notes section blank.
- Submit your return request. We’ll review it and send you a confirmation email once it’s approved.
- Our courier partner will initiate a reverse pickup within 24 hours of approval.
- Once the pickup is completed, we’ll process your exchange or store credits within 24 hours.
All the purchases will be non-refundable.
· Refund can only be processed if we fail to deliver the order within the tentative delivery date shared on mail after placing the order. Please note, once the order is delivered it's not eligible for refund.
- Refund will be initiated from our end within 3-15 working days only via the payment mode you used while placing the order.
- Once, the refund has been initiated from our end and ARN is generated by our payment gateway, please check with your bank in case you do not receive the refund within 3-7 days.
- The timeline of amount being credited to your account solely depends on your cycle with your bank, we are not liable for any delay from their end.

Exchanges: (Domestic Orders)
We understand that the sizes may differ and you may need to change the size after trying the product in person. Keeping this in mind we offer easy size exchange on all apparels (except purchases made during the clearance sale). Please fill the return form to return the product and choose the size you want to exchange with. We will arrange the reverse pickup for the product delivered. Once the product has been picked up, we'll process a new order with exchange size, order details of which will be shared on your registered email address.
Products purchased during the clearance sale will not be eligible for size exchange. If returned only Store Credits will be issued.
Exchanges: (International Orders)
We offer free exchanges on all apparels, as the shipping cost is not added in the product price, for International orders if needed to be exchanged, customer will have to bear to and fro shipping charges.
Please fill the return form and size you want to exchange with, our team will reach out to you within 24-48 hours. Customer will have to send the product to our warehouse and share the shipping details with us. Once the product is delivered to our warehouse, a new order will be placed, with exchange size and applicable shipping charges with the payment link. Once the shipping charges are paid we will ship the exchange size.
Exchanges can be processed only once per order. (With given criteria)
If Product delivered is damaged.
We ensure that the product before leaving our warehouse for delivery goes through our quality assurance team thrice and every little detail is checked. If the package is being delivered to you in damaged packaging please refuse to accept the delivery. Unevenness in colour and texture is not a fault but a beautiful characteristic of natural processes and handblock printing. If the contents of the package or product in any condition still seems damaged we request the customer to share the image proactively within 24hours of delivery on hello@fancypastels.com or on any of our social media handles. If failed to do so, we would not be able to take action on the request later on. Colour may slightly vary due to photographic lighting sources or due to the screen settings you're watching.
Parameters for Quality Check for Return products:
- products should be unused
- product should not be damaged
- product should not be tampered with (opened stitching, or any alterations)
- all the tags must be attached on the product
Refunds as Store Credits
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund as a credit note.
If you are approved, then your credit will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your Fancy Pastels account within 3-7 days which can be used for future purchases.
Please note:
1. We do not offer refunds in Bank account.
2. Shipping charges and COD charges if any will not be refunded in any case.
After filling the return form please wait for the approval and reverse pickup will be scheduled within 48-72 working hours. If you do not wish to wait, you can courier us the product back on the below mentioned address duly filling the Return Form. Please note products sent without filling the Return Form would not be eligible for Exchange.
Customized Products
Please note if you've requested for customization for any product on the website, delivery timeline of that product will be 10-20 working days as it will be made specifically for you. We strictly do not accept any return or exchange on customised products, we request you to kindly check the measurements before making a request for customisation.
