Where It All Began
Fancy Pastels began in 2017 in a small Jaipur studio, surrounded by stacks of fresh fabric, hand-drawn motifs, and big dreams.
There was no grand launch plan.
No large team.
Just an instinct — that vacation wear could be thoughtful, original, and beautifully crafted in India.
What we didn’t have in scale, we made up for in intention.
Each piece was designed slowly. Printed carefully. Packed by hand.
Every order felt personal — because it was.
Crafted in Jaipur
Jaipur is not just where we work — it’s part of who we are.
Our prints are developed in-house and brought to life through traditional techniques like hand screen printing and small-batch production. We work closely with local artisans and skilled karigars who understand fabric, fall, and finish at an intuitive level.
We choose breathable cottons, muslin silks, and fluid fabrics that feel as good as they look — especially in warm weather and on long holidays.
Many of our pieces are made in limited quantities. Some are crafted to order.
Because we believe clothing should feel considered, not rushed.
From a Local Studio to Wardrobes Worldwide
What started in one Jaipur studio has now travelled far beyond it.
Over the years, Fancy Pastels has found its way into wardrobes across India, the US, Canada, the UK, the UAE, Singapore, and beyond.
Our pieces have been worn on beach vacations, birthday dinners, festive gatherings, destination weddings, and everyday moments that deserved something special.
Nine years later, what moves us most isn’t numbers — it’s the women who come back season after season, trusting us again.
That trust is our greatest milestone.

Building a handcrafted brand is beautiful — and complex.
As we grew, we faced the very real challenge of scaling production while protecting quality and detail. Handmade processes don’t always move at factory speed. And growth, when it happens quickly, demands stronger systems.
We’ve learned. We’ve refined. We’ve rebuilt where needed.
Today, our production planning is clearer, our dispatch timelines are defined, and most of our styles are ready to ship. For others, we communicate transparent timelines — whether it’s “Ships in 7 Days” or thoughtfully made to order.
Every lesson has strengthened our commitment to doing things better.
